Eating Disorder Caregiver Support Group

Supporting someone who has an eating disorder is emotionally taxing for anyone. You may not understand what they are going through or why. You need support too.

Let our providers give you the support and understanding you need and learn from others who are in a similar situation. Group support is one of the most helpful tools available.

This weekly support group is designed to empower caregivers of individuals with eating disorders to support their loved one’s recovery. Eating disorder clinicians will provide teaching on topics relevant to eating disorder treatment, and facilitated group discussion and activities will further learning and support from other caregivers.

Some of the topics include:

  • Psychoeducation on common ED challenges
  • Skill building relating to communication, self-care, and emotion regulation
  • Opportunity to give and receive support with other caregivers

Sessions held via Telehealth.
Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Cost: No Cost, however, due to the funding resource, group is for residents of Washington only

Facilitated by Katie Zweig & Marina Kapes
Food Is Not The Enemy in partnership with HelloLife Eating Recovery Service
