Pants, dresses, shorts, skirts, t-shirts, blouses, bras, lingerie, socks, tights, leggings… oh my! Silk, linen, wool, cashmere, cotton, denim, leather… exquisite! Patterns, prints, flowers, solids, sunny colors, warm colors, dark colors, all the colors of the rainbow and more…fun!
Unlike women a hundred years ago, we have tons of garment options in loads of combinations! So many possibilities… so little time!
And yet, how often do you wear something that’s too tight, too big, too uncomfortable, too blah? You don’t love it. You don’t feel good in it. You don’t find joy in showing it off (and thus showing yourself off). You don’t shine.
In fact, maybe it’s a way to hide your body or to punish your body for not being a smaller size.
It doesn’t work!
If you’re trying to feel good about yourself, wearing clothes that are anything other than something you love and that fits well, will take from your self-esteem. You can’t feel good and energized about yourself or your day when all your attention is focused on your clinging clothes.
