Caroline is a student therapist intern and is current pursuing a Master of Arts in professional mental health counseling and certificate in the treatment of eating disorders from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Caroline is currently completing her practicum at the Lewis and Clark Community Counseling Center and is excited to conduct her Internship at Food Is Not The Enemy. Prior to attending graduate school, Caroline received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Yale University.
Caroline’s warm approach is deeply rooted in compassion and aims to connect clients to their inner-strength and self-worth. She has a passion for supporting those who struggle to feel confident in their bodies and helping clients develop tools to break free from the negative self-talk and behaviors that limit their lives. Caroline utilizes techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, self-compassion, Health at Every Size (HAES) and aims to create a space where emotions can be safely felt, explored, and understood.
